It's nice to have an actual sit-down meal with good food and excellent serving staff and cashiers. It was pretty quiet today but the staff are always efficient, even when all the students are eating at the same time.

During the Harbor lectureship I ate three meals a day in the Waves Cafe. The buffets were outstanding. The staff was friendly. There was plenty of room. And the food was exceptional!

HUGE cafeteria area on the Pepperdine Campus in Malibu! Tremendous variety, whether u want from a quick snack (thin, tasty pizza slices) or a full meal (closed buffet style meat & veggies), the prices R reasonable and the view (overlooking the Pacific) quite grand. I had the chili, and altho it was inundated w/a few too many red & green peppers for my taste, it was thick, hearty, and meaty enuf (not overly meaty, & 4 my $$$ they could replaced a few peppers w/a little MORE ground round). A pleasant surprise to me, all I can say is those Pepperdine Students EAT WELL!

Though food is overpriced, I find the people who work at Bon Appétit Pepperdine are awesome. The manager, Darren Wise, is a great leader, and his team is exceptional in providing great customer service, from the servers to the cashiers. Shoutout to the team at Pepperdine Bon Appétit!
